Mrs. Nellie Glover Shultz, 70, of Rt. 1, Staunton, widow of J. Leonard Shultz who died in June 1962, died Tuesday morning (Oct. 14, 1969) at her residence.
She was born in Augusta County on Sept. 9, 1899, a daughter of Clarence and Minnie (Baylor) Glover. Mrs. Shultz was a member of St. John's Reformed Church and had served as secretary of the Woman's Guild for 25 years.
Surviving are two sons, Fred W. and Wayne G. Shultz, both of Rt. 1, Staunton, two daughters, Mrs. Martha Lee Reames of Rt. 1, Staunton and Mrs. Lois Frances Sensabaugh of 1042 Selma Blvd, and 10 grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, C. Lynn Glover of Rt. 1, Staunton, and two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Heizer of Rt. 1, Middlebrook and Mrs. Hugh Stump of Fort Myers, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon from St. John's Reformed Church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Arthur Antal, the Rev. George Gaerttner, a former pastor, and the Rev. Julius S. Garbett, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
