SHERMAN - Oscar Lee Jarrell, 77,512 South Hazelwood, Sherman, died at 8:30 p.m. June 2, 1976, in a Sherman hospital.
Services will be held at 2:30 Friday at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Patterson officiating and the Rev. R. L. Cates assisting. Burial will be in Carson cemetery at Ector.
Born March 19, 1899, at Anniston, Alabama, the son of Henry Alex Jarrell and Martha Lou Taylor Jarrell Young, he married Mattie Jane Carter in Ector, December 28, 1931. He was a retired electrician.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Jarrell of Sherman; two daughters, Mrs. Walter E. Knight of Denison and Mrs. William H. Blanton of Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Trapp of Leonard and Mrs. Niece Trapp of Bonham; one brother, Woody Jarrell of Birmingham, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
