Roy E. Craver Taken by Death

Roy H. Craver, of 1114 South Seventeenth street of this city, passed away Tuesday night August 19, 1952 at 10:30. He had been in the hospital following an operation performed two weeks ago.
Mr. Craver was 71 years and 18 days of age. He was born in Iowa August 1, 1881 the son of Jacob and Sarah Craver. In 1912 he united in marriage with Eva Pyle, who survives his death, together with four children as follows, Harry, Lewis and Joseph Craver, of Centerville and Mrs. Mary Camp, also of this city. There are two grandchildren and two sisters who are; Florence and Minnie of Long Beach, California.
Mr. Craver was a retired coal miner and member of the U. M. W of A.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. from the Johnson Funeral home with the Rev. Robert Blanshan officiating and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
