Beverly Maxine Wardlow Thompson, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2010 in Sahuarita, Arizona, after a brief illness.

She joined her dear husband Rudy, other relatives and friends in a glorious reunion in Heaven.

She is survived by five sons: Roger (Marsha), Linwood (Malia), Paul (Sue), David (Marcelle); foster son, Marvin Curley (Grace); 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren (13 more since Rudy passed away nearly 2 1/2 years ago).

Beverly was born in Kirksville, Missouri, to Clyde Edson and Georgie Levera Wardlow. From age seven, Beverly was raised in a loving home in South Dakota. She earned degrees from both the University of South Dakota and the University of Arizona.

She devoted her life to raising her sons and later on taught business education at Amphi High School.

Beverly's passion in life always involved being in service to her family and friends. She was loved by all because she selflessly gave all that she had, everyday of her life. Rudy and Beverly's legacy will continue to influence, for good, many generations to come.

A Private Burial Service will be held for close friends and family members at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Binghampton Cemetery, 4001 N. Alvernon Rd. in Tucson.

A Memorial Service will be held later that day at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (East Stake Center) at 6901 E. Kenyon Dr. in Tucson.
