Died, Monday in St.Louis, from paralysis, Mrs. Rachel E. Smith, aged 74 years. Remains were being brought to Springfield this afternoon over the Illinois Traction System.

Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. E. Abbott on Wednesday. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Decedent is survived by three sons, Edgar, Maurice and Claude, and two daughters, Mrs. S. E. Abbott and Mrs. Norman Fortune.
