Lewis R. Sherrill, 71, former resident of Logansport and Bluffton, Indiana passed away on Saturday Night, February 27, 2010 at his home in Fort Wayne, Indiana following an extended illness.
Lewis was born in Elwood, Indiana on July 20, 1938 the son of William T. and Bernice (Holt) Sherrill. He married Patricia Thomas on September 17, 1960. Lewis worked at the Midwest Tool and Die in Fort Wayne for 32 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Logansport, Indiana. He called square dancing around the Fort Wayne, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana areas for many years. Survivors include; His wife of 49 years: Patricia Sherrill – Fort Wayne, Indiana, His Two sons: Craig A. Sherrill (fiancé Debbie Haddaway) – Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steven R. Sherrill – Port St. John, Florida, His daughter: Dianna M. Allen (husband Scott) – Fort Wayne, Indiana, His Granddaughter: Brittney Fox (fiancé Warren Barrand) – Fort Wayne, Indiana, His Step-Granddaughters: Bethany Allen – New Haven, Indiana, Breiana Allen – New Haven, Indiana, His Three Sisters: Loretta Coffey – Port St. John, Florida, Rosetta Moon – Logansport, Indiana, Barbara Cotton – Logansport, Indiana, His Aunt: Mildred DeLong – Tipton, Indiana.Visitation for Lewis R.
