MARTIN JOSEPH ATKINS, 73, of 1614 Shady Lane, died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday at General Hospital. He was a self-employed paper hanger for 50 years and was a veteran of World War I. Atkins was a native of Loretto, Ky. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. The body will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Oak St. at Schiller Ave. where services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thur. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may kindly visit after 6:00 p.m. Tues.

LORETTO NATIVE DIES - MARTIN JOSEPH ATKINS, 73, of Louisville, a native of Loretto and a veteran of World War I, died Sunday, June 19, at General Hospital, Louisville. He was a self-employed paperhanger. Funeral services were in Louisville, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park there.
