Henry J.H. Braden was most likely a Junior ,but we have no official record of that. He was the 6th. child of John and Martha Sarah Caldwell Braden. Moving first to Eastern division of Monroe County, Ms. and then into the Old Itawamba County, to Braden's Branch just after, his dad cleared the land and built a home around 1835 or so. He married Sarah H. Martin in Itawamba County 22 Oct. 1854. They had 4 known Children. He served in the Confederate Army as a Private first in Co. H 2nd. Miss Calv. and then in Balfour's 4th Batt.Co. E. Miss. Inf. They lived and farmed near Campbelltown, (Now Guntown) Miss. now in Lee County, Miss. There is also another Marriage record for him to a Sarah J. Johnson on the same date as his marriage to Sarah Martin ???? Both are official records ??? Could one of these names be her maiden name and one her unknown first Husbands name???
