Geraldine "Geri" F. Barry-Alexander, 67, died , Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her home in Troy, IL .

She was born January 6, 1943 in Granite City, IL to the late Michael H. and Ann (Topal) Barry.

She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, St. Louis, MO, in 1992 after working 25 years as a Marketing/Research Manager. She was also a Pioneer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Geri could master anything she tried; painting, crochet, macramé, cooking, baking and much more. Her love for animals was shown through her many hours volunteering at the Rescue Center in MO. She cared more for others than herself and was a giver with a big heart.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Anderson Hospital for their dedicated care and bedside manors.

She is survived by: 2 sons, Paul (Maryjo) Eads and Jamie Eads both of Troy, IL; 5
grandchildren, Brittany, Savannah, Brianna, Brooklynn, and Zoey; 1 sister, Joann Vaughn of Glen Carbon, IL; 2 brothers, Michael (Janette) Barry of Granite City, IL and Joseph (Mary) Barry of Florissant, MO, 3 aunts and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Fri. 3/12 from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorials services at 3:00 p.m. at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
