Earl Bloodworth, 58, of Scobey, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at his home.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, at National Funeral Home.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at Rosebloom Nazarene Church. Burial will follow in Paul Cemetery in Tallahatchie County.
Earl was born on Sept. 26, 1950, in Sardis to Jesse H. and Lottie Bloodworth. He was a Baptist. Earl was employed as the head of maintenance at Luvata. He was also a member of the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association and the Ascalmore Hunting Club.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lottie Bloodworth, and by one son, Christopher Allen Bloodworth.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Ross Bloodworth of Scobey; one daughter, Pamela Bloodworth Womble of Scobey; one son, Kevin Earl Bloodworth of Scobey; one sister, Teresa Ross of Grenada; two brothers, Kenneth "Okra" Bloodworth of Scobey and Donald Wayne Bloodworth of Grenada; and four grandchildren, Joshua Womble, Lindsey Womble, Christopher Allen Bloodworth, Jr. and Allie Bloodworth.
National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
