Rita C. Madsen, 94 of Arvada. Rita was the last of 14 children born to the late James and Mary (McNeilus) Boyle from Stratton, Nebraska.

Wife of the late Orville Madsen. Mother of Douglas (Mary Jo) Madsen, Thomas Madsen, Colleen Peters and Larry Madsen. Also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, 4:00 PM., to 5:00 PM., followed by Recitation of the Rosary Thursday, 5:00 PM., with Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 AM., all at Little Sisters of the Poor, 3629 W. 29th Ave., Denver. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. Published in Denver Post on January 27, 2010
