Frank M. Busbey, 1249 West Macon street, died Sunday evening in Springfield, Mo., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Milton E. Willeford. He had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Busbey had taken a vacation with the hope of regaining his health, but he grew steadily worse instead of better. His family were all with him during his illness.
Frank Marion Busbey was born Mar. 2, 1869, at Oakland where he spent the most of his life until he moved to Decatur about twenty years ago. He and Miss Mary Hughey, daughter of the late Rev. J. H. Hughey, were united in marriage Sept. 12, 1893. To this union were born two daughters. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. M. E. Willeford of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. H. Clarke Danforth of Detroit, Mich., and two grandchildren, Rosemary Elaine and Robert Willis Willeford.
For the last twenty years Mr. Busbey has been employed as city salesman with the Decatur Grocer company.
Funeral arrangements have not been fully completed, but the body will be brought to Decatur at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The funeral will be held sometime Wednesday. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery.
