Ahasuerus was buried next to his parents in the old Van Patten burial ground. The area was used as a sand pit or land fill so the stones were removed in 1962. The stones were eventually located in a different cemetery - the Old Methodist Cemetery in West Glenville with an explanatory marker in 2015. See the photo at left. He had 10 children and lived 48 years and has descendants buried at the Old Reformed Church and Park Cemeteries in Scotia, NY.
