Born at West Newton, PA, March 17, 1877. Son of Dr. and Mrs. A. W. Orr, later, of Lincoln, Neb. Entered service May 17, 1917. Arrived at London, May 30, 1917. On duty with the British until August 1, 1918. Base Hospital No. 9, Chatcanroux, France, August, 1918. Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery and Director of Orthopedic services in Base Section No. 1 (including Savenay, St Nazaire, Nantes, Angers) until Feb. 15, 1919.
