She was the youngest daughter of Samuel Jeremiah Riordan and Joyce Estelle Pierce Riordan, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents Jerry and Mamie Pierce.
She was survived by her two children Jesse Rivers and Nicolette Weaver, her sisters Dianne Clark and Rita Reed, brothers Frank Riordan, Danny Riordan, and Sammie Riordan, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

She was my beautiful first cousin. We weren't raised near each other, me in Alabama, her in Georgia. She, like myself, was quite young when both of our mothers were killed together in an automobile accident in 1971. She later moved to Alabama after she was grown and married there. My daughter and her son went to school together for a little while. I know that she attended church regularly and professed her salvation long before her death. She died at such an early age from breast cancer, leaving behind her teenage son and young daughter.
