Daniel Wesley Boothe Sr., who had worked as a general foreman, died Thursday in an area hospital. He was 88.

Boothe was a Citronelle native who resided in Leakesville.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Boothe Jr. of Heidleburg, Miss.; three daughters, Marie B. Hillman of Leakesville, Truly Beavers of Dolan Springs, Ariz., and Belle Dees of Citronelle; one brother, Joe Boothe of Eight Mile; one sister, Doris Byrd of Fruitdale, Ala.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home in Leakesville. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday in Lambert Cemetery in Citronelle.
