Henry C. Beckette, 75, of Waterloo, Ill., born July 17, 1928, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, in Belleville, Ill.

Mr. Beckette was in the Army National Guard.

Mr. Beckette was preceded in death by his parents, Henry C. and Catherine E., nee Santen, Beckette; and three sisters, Lillian Buergelt, Veronica Sanders and Dorothy Blumstein.

Surviving are a son, Danny Beckette of Waterloo, Ill.; two daughters, Dianna Harvester of Tampa, Fla., and Darla Beckette; four grandchildren, Jessica (Dan) Goode of Texas, Alissa Harvester of Tampa, Fla., Katrina Harvester of Tampa, Fla., and Erica Harvester of Tampa, Fla.; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation: Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at DeFabio Funeral Home, Waterloo, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Sept. 19, 2003, at DeFabio Funeral Home, Waterloo, Ill. Burial in Waterloo City Cemetery, Waterloo, Ill.
