RCMP Constable (Danny) Bourdon stationed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was struck and killed after he pulled 2 vehicles over on the # 11 Highway, approximately 15 kilometres south of Saskatoon. After finishing with the first vehicle he went to the second vehicle and was talking with the driver. A northbound tractor trailer entered the shoulder area of the highway and struck Constable Bourdon.

Constable Bourdon was a 19 year veteran of the Force.

He is survived by a wife and a five year old daughter.
