Susanna and William lived in Fremont Co, Iowa for many years (short time in NE) and all 9 children were born in Fremont County, IA. They returned to Lake Co, CA by 1900, as did most of their children. Susanna's father, Samuel Wilson (widower), returned to CA with them.
Susanna's husband, William, served in the Civil War from 1863-1865 with the "California Battalion and Hundred." Three of her brothers served in the Civil War for the state of Iowa.
Susanna died at Lakeport at the age of 75 years 3 months.
