Robert Earl Wilson was the son of H. H. Wilson and Zadie Brown Wilson. He was a painter and a paperhanger. He married Mary "Estelle" Lively and had 2 children, Robert Tollison Wilson and Mary LaVerne Wilson. He died at the age of 29.

Funeral services were held Sunday for Robert Earl Wilson, 29, who died at his home Saturday. Services were held at the Davilla Christian Church by Rev. H. E. Crone with burial at the Lilac Cemetery.

Robert Earl Wilson was born June 17, 1911, at San Gabriel, and on February 17, 1933 he was married to Miss Estelle Lively. Two children were born, R. T. and LaVerne.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Annie Nutt of Bartlett and Mrs. Fannie May Hook of Rosebud; five brothers, Jack Wilson of Cameron, Buck Wilson of Buckholts, John Wilson of San Gabriel, Pete Wilson of Thorndale, and Sam Wilson of Davilla. His father, mother, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

He joined the Lilac Baptist Church at an early age and the past summer united with the First Christian Church at Davilla. He was well liked and respected in the county.
