After the war he was responsible for collecting much of the CSN material for the Naval War Records Bureau that went into the ORN. From Virginia.

HARDIN B. LITTLEPAGE died Thursday at his home in Washington. He was 71 years old and one of the few survivors of the battle between the Monitor and the Merrimac. Mr. Littlepage was born in Virginia. He was a midshipmen at the Naval Academy when he resigned to enter the Confederate Navy.
