Mrs. Eva Mobley Brown, 99, formerly of Great Falls, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Rapha Residential Care. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Mt. Dearborn United Methodist Church with Rev. David Ussery officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Thursday at Mt. Dearborn UMC, 12 Calhoun St., Great Falls, SC.
Mrs. Brown was born July 16, 1917 in Liberty Hill, SC and was a daughter of the late Sidney Capers Mobley and Cannie Williams Mobley. She retired from J.P. Stevens Co. and was a member of Mt. Dearborn United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Dr. Dorothy “Dot” Brown of Columbia, SC; her dear friend, Virginia “Jenny” Beale; and several nieces and nephews.
