Gerald was born in Tennessee to Otis Alfred "Jack" and Maude Swift Clinard. Joined the USAF after all 3 of his brothers served in WWII. Lived in Texas, Kentucky and Florida. Had one son with his first wife, Pat Foss, named Gary Wayne Clinard.
Retired to Florida where he loved to play golf.
Loving uncle and a good man.
