Mr. Roudabush was born Aug. 18, 1934, in Shenandoah, and was the son of the late Roy and Elsie (Cave) Roudabush.
Jimmy graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1952. He also graduated from V.P.I. in 1956 with a B.S. in General Sciences. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and the National Guard from 1960 to 1963. Mr. Roudabush retired from I.C.I. Americas as plant manager from 1965 to 1990 and was a member of AF&AM Lodge No. 243 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Stephen Creech on Friday, April 21, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Shenandoah, Va. The burial will follow at the Coverstone Cemetery in Shenandoah.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Roudabush and his wife, Sharon, of Harrisonburg, Va., James Roudabush and his wife, Marla, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Timothy Roudabush and his wife, Kathy, of Reidsville, N.C.; one daughter, Martha Lee "Muffy" Ford and her husband, Christopher, of Bethesda, Md. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
