Everett L. McCaw, 87, died August 15, 2001, Peoria, Illinois.
Born November 17, 1913, in Wapello County, Iowa, to Roy and Mary Reynolds McCaw, he married Christine McAllister on February 1, 1936, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James (Gloria) and Billy (Mary), one daughter, Dixie Berry, seven grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and one sister, Beulah Carter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
He worked road construction in Ottumwa, Iowa, before moving to Peoria in 1942 to work for R.G. LeTourneau Co. for 7 years. In 1949, he moved to Edelstein to work as service manager for Potter Implement Co., the local John Deere dealer, for 24 1/2 years. In 1971, he returned to Peoria, where he did maintenance work for Holly Brook Apartments for nine years. In 1979, he and his wife retired and moved to North Fort Meyers. They returned to Peoria in 1992. He attended Calvary Baptist Bible Church in Peoria.
