Helen Christine Bland Mattingly, 91, Lebanon, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
Born Dec. 8, 1918, in Marion County, Mattingly was preceded in death by: her husband, William Bernard Mattingly; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Cook; parents, J.C. and Eddie Smothers Bland; two brothers, Jack and Roy Bland; and five sisters, Hazel Hubbard, Lillian White, Mary Purdy, Ruth Malone and Mae Vessells.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert, Richard "Ricky" and Terry Mattingly, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A private funeral service was held at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Trey and Irvin Abell, Larry Cook, Scott Lawson and Scott and Larry Mattingly.
