Born April 2, 1936 in Lansing, the daughter of Patrick and Lualta (Havens) McBryde, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Okemos at age 75. Marlene was very artistic and creative, designing and building her home. She was most happy when she was spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 2006. Surviving are her 3 children: Pamela (Gary) Steinhoff, Bryan (Peggy) Medler and Dawn (Mike) Haddad, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 siblings: Sara (Robert) Peacock, James (Sharon) McBryde and Connie Meeks and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel with Rev. Steve Ezop officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
