Her first husband Harley K. Dulaney died in 1953. In 1957 she married Noah K. Koontz who died in 1982. Sons, Harley K. Dulaney of Jacksonville, Fl. Daughters, Connie D. Walters of Abingdon & Elizabeth Ramsey of Staunton. 7 stepchildren, Jean Dickinson of Blacksburg, Phillip & David Koontz & Gertrude Hammer all of Elkton, Charlotte Blanchard of Charleior, OH., Noah Koontz Jr. of Columbus, OH. & Joan Shifflett of Shenandoah. Sister, Addie Roudabush of Villamont. Brother, Thomas Akers of Roanoke. 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 21 step grandchildren & 24 step great grandchildren. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery at Shenandoah.

Mary is the daughter of Norborne K. & Mary E. (Heckman) Ackers. She married Noal Keirle Koontz, Sr. on May 18, 1957 in Page County, Virginia.
