The funeral of Miss Nellie Belle Bilbro, who died yesterday at the home of her sister at Aubrun, took place from the Methodist Church here at 2:30 o'clock today. The church was crowded with friends. The services were conducted by Rev. L H S Chappelle, assisted by Rev. W P Hurt of the First Methodist Church of Opelika.
A long line of carriages followed the sad funeral procession from the church to the city cemetery.
The following men who were once members of her Sunday School class, were active pallbearers: L C Lewis, O H Lewis, M S Danner, A S Danner, M H Hurt and W P Cobb. The honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Jno. Massey, W G Swanson, W W Campbell, D E Leslie, J S Drakeford and D E Kelley
The Immediate relatives surviving are her brothers, Judge James A Bilbro of Gadsden, Rev. I F Bilbro of Wetumpka, Mr. O R Bilbro of Auburn, her sisters. Mrs. T M Cassella of Gadsden and Mrs. M E Pope of Auburn.
