Though his stone states he was born 1869, he was clearly born in 1872. See birth record below. Also, each census he is found in Yarmouth, MA lists him as being born 1872. I believe the birth date on his stone is incorrect.

Ellis Baker is buried in same lot as his wife Annie and grandson Earl Baker. Lot owner is listed as Clara Crosby. Funeral Home Doane Beal & Ames.
