"MRS. MINNIE ALPHA BENNETT, 95, of Houston died April 6, 1985 in Houston where she had been a resident for the past 44 years. She had been a member of Parker Memorial United Methodist Church for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. H. Stripling, Jacksonville, Texas and three sons, Mr. C. W. Bennett, Jr., Houston, Texas, Mr. Samuel R. Bennett, Greenvine, Texas, Mr. Lloyd Jason Bennett, Mexia, Texas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, April 8, 1985, Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel with Reverend Eric Anderson officiating. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery."
