Walter G. Forbes, an employee of Weskem Corp., whose residence was at 409 W. Adams, was found dead early today in his automobile on the road from Sanford to the Sanford-Yake area of Lake Meredith.

Sheriff Hugh Anderson, who investigated at 7:30 a.m. today, said Forbes was found slumped behind the wheel of his auto, which apparently had careened off the road as it headed eastward sometime during the early morning hours today.

Sheriff Anderson said no foul play was involved. He speculated that Forbes died of an apparent heart attack.

Forbes was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital shortly after 8 a.m. today.

Funeral services today were pending with Ed Brown & Son.
