Mrs. Virginia Florence Wilson, 86, of Luray died 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Page Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient three days. She had been in failing health four months. She was born Aug. 23, 1882 at Stanley and was a daughter of the late Phillip and Amanda Painter Foltz. She was a member of the Hawksbill Primitive Baptist Church.
Her husband, Hubert V. Wilson, whom she married Dec. 18, 1902, died Dec. 12, 1961. Surviving are four sons, Kenneth M. and Warren H., both of Luray, H. Edward of Stanley and Vernon of Buena Vista; four daughters, Mrs. Roy (Lola) Bradley and Mrs. Ross (Pearl) Cave, both of Luray, Mrs. Floyd (Thelma) Housden and Mrs. Claude (Stella) Good both of Stanley; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. One son is deceased. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Charles Alderton, assisted by Elder Albert F. Sudduth.
Burial was in the Adventist Cemetery at Stanley.
