He was an Army Veteran of World War II, where he received the Bronze Star for service during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired mechanic from Baltimore Gas and Electric.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Georgeann Williams Tittle of North; five daughters, Doris Allen of Glen Burnie, MD, Faye Keller, Christine Tittle and June Jamison, all of North and Elizabeth Bassett of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Harvey Ray Tittle and Carl F. Tittle, both of North; four brothers, Cecil Tittle of Millersville, MD, Ike Tittle, Jr. and Jim Tittle, both of Erwin, TN and Harley Tittle of Jonesboro, TN; 18 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
