Mrs Sion Godden passed away in her home on East 2nd Monday. Death was caused from pneumonia. She was born in Putman County, Indiana, Jan 11, 1870. She is survived by her husband, Sion; five daughters, mesdames W.C. Dean, J.E. Jensen, Howard Clemmens of this city; Mrs Florence Walton of Chicago; and Mrs B.B.F. Sparks of Donniphan. Five sons, Ray and Ed of this city; Howard of Grants Pass, Ore.; Clarence of Empire, Ore.; and Will of Exeter, California. Funeral services will be this afternoon from the Maloney-Cox-Kuhns funeral home from 2:30, Rev J.A. Houston will officiate. The body will lay in state at the W.C. Dean home before the services.
