He served as a doctor in the US Army during WWII and Korea, and retired as a Lt Col. Dr McCreary married Mary Evalyn Kimbrel of Dodge City, KS, and was the father of two children, Mary Alice McCreary Denham and Frank Dubose McCreary Jr.
