FUNERAL SERVICES FOR J. E. JONES, BEEKMAN RESIDENT
James Eric Jones, 69, a resident of Beekman community for 38 years, died at 3:35 am Thursday, November 11, 1943, at his home after a two-week illness. Funeral services were held Friday at 11 o'clock at Causey Cemetery in Second Ward, with the Rev. Walter Brasswell, pastor of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bastrop, officiating.
