Joe B. Himmel 83, Indianapolis, passed away April 5, 2005. He was born December 1, 1921 in Radcliff, IA to Carl and Clair (Luglan) Himmel. Joe served in the U.S. Army during WWII in both Europe and the Pacific. He owned and operated Pure Oil Gas Station at 10th St. and Emerson Ave. in Indianapolis. He then served as Vice-President of Perkins Furniture Transport. Mr. Himmel was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Past President of IMTA, and Trustee of Local Teamsters #960.

Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Sullivan) Himmel; son, Mike C. Himmel; daughter, Becky (Ron) Arvin; grandchildren, Michael Joe Himmel, Douglas Carl Himmel, Amy Eileen Arvin; and three great-grandchildren.
