Bonham, Texas - Funeral services for Paul Bearden, age 88 of Bonham, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2003 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Officiating will be Rev. James Henry. Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
Mr. Bearden passed away Friday, November 21, 2003 in Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
He was born on May 30, 1915 in Fannin County, Texas, the son of the late J.I. and Lillie Edwards Bearden.
Mr. Bearden married Mary Angala Pilliod Bearden on December 7, 1940 in Bonham. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bearden enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife - Mary A. Bearden of Bonham, Texas; Son - Michael Bearden of Bonham, Texas; Sisters - Imogene Thomas of Denison, Texas and Lois Chaffin of Bonham, Texas. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Brad Jones, Harold Stroud, Walter Eagleton, Gary Purdy and Jimmy Barnes.
