ALLEN, Eulene (nee Oldham) age 83 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Bethesda North Hospital with her family by her side. Born December 8, 1926 in Clay County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Walter and Sally (Bucknell) Oldham, a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Carless Allen, her two brothers Ellis and Boyd Oldham and six sisters Mattie Gentry, Maude Ollinger, Mamie Ledford, Irene Rowland, Mae Hutson and Emmer Oldham; Eulene leaves behind her loving and caring son - Jimmy Dale (Pearl) Allen of South Lebanon, Ohio; granddaughters Deanna Burton and Joyce Wright; great grandchildren Logan Burton, Brittney Wright and Whitney Fisher; great-great granddaughter Kylee Wright and many other family members, friends and neighbors. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church with Reverend Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon, Ohio. The family has requested that memorial donations be directed to her church - Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 100 East Broadway Street, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065.
