Frena Mildred Snyder, 84, of Yanush, OK died Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010 at Sparks Regional Medical Center, Fort Smith, AR. Memorial Service will be at Cupco Freewill Baptist Church, Tuskahoma, OK, at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 27th, with Rev. Derryl DeShields officiating. Intermentent will be at Cupco Cemetery under the direction of Clayton Funeral Home following the services. Frena was born in Yanush, OK on January 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Ann (Anderson) Hokit. She was the widow of Robert Snyder, whom she married on February 20, 1947 in Wilburton, OK. She was a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She attended Buffalo Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by: Daughter Deanne and Richard Kroeker of Yanush, OK; Daughter Sonya Snyder of Yanush, OK; Daughter Suzette Roberts of Poteau, OK; Daughter Bobbie and Clark Barnes of Haileyville, OK; Sister Beda (Hokit) Rowley of Okemah, OK. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Procedeed in death by her parents Earl and Ruth Hokit, two sisters; Virigina (Hokit) Strider and Betty (Hokit) Baker and four brothers; Louis (Brother) Hokit, Emanuel (Chief) Hokit, Earl Gene (Shine) Hokit, and Eldon Hokit.
