James Carroll Franks Buried at Macedonia

James Carroll Franks died July 4 at @:30 am at the Houston Hospital following a heart disease. He was 82.

Funeral services were held at Macedonia with the Rev. Flenoy Clark and Rev. Dewey Flora officiating. He was a Baptist.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Franks; four sons, Dayton Franks of Little Rock, Ark.; Lonza Franks of Leland; Charles Franks of St. Louis, Mo.; and Malvin Franks of Houston; four daughters, Gertrude O'Barr of Houston; Pauline Dunlap of Racine, Wisconsin; Ruby Thomas of Bracine, Wisconsin; and Hazel Doss of Houston; two sisters, Katherine Covington of Kiser, Ark.; Amelia Bell O'Barr of Houston; two brothers, Alvie Franks of Hayti, mo.; and Tom Franks of Batesville.
