John Hoyt, age 75, passed away at the home of his brother, Ira Hoyt, Washington Ave., April 14th. He was the son of Isaac and Jereshua Hoyt and had been a resident in Galesburg for about thirty years. Surviving are the brother Ira, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth House, Midland Park, Gull Lake. Funeral services were held at the Wilson Funeral Parlors, Saturday afternoon, April 17th at two o’clock, Rev. Charles A. Clay officiating. Burial in Oak Grove cemetery.
