She was retired as a secretary at the Brinkley Argus newspaper in Brinkley, AR and was a teacher for the Parkin School System. She was a member of Parkin First Baptist Church; the Parkin Garden Club and the Arkansas Retired Teacher's Association.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Hickman of Parkin, AR; her son, David W. Hickman of Parkin, AR; two daughters, Kay Hickman Smith of Grayslake, IL and Clara Hickman Marotti of Marion, AR; her sister, Lizzie Montgomery of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The service was held at Parkin First Baptist Church and interment was in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.
