Novella S. Thompson, 80, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was a member of Quail Ridge Church of Christ. Mrs. Thompson, the widow of Edward Blake Thompson, leaves a daughter, Lynn Campbell; a son, Ronnie Thompson; sister, Jane Gaston; 5 grandsons and 1 great-grandson. The family will receive friends this evening, Friday, February 26 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 27 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
