A. C. (Cull) Parrigin, 84, of Clarendon, a cotton gin operator in Collingsworth County 30 years, died in Groom Hospital at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24.
For a number of years before his retirement, Mr. Parrigin operated the West Texas Gin. He moved to Clarendon 10 years ago. He was a native of Kentucky, where he was born Dec. 16, 1882. Mr. Parrigin was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr. Parrigin are his wife, Mrs. Etta Parrigin of Clarendon; three daughters: Mrs. Alton Knox and Mrs. John Judd of Clarendon, and Mrs. Clyde Lancaster of Amarillo; and two brothers: Alex Parrigin of San Antonio and Wiley Parrigin of Odessa. There are
six grandchildren.
