Obituary Of Jerry West Clarion (Jerry) West age 80, native of Clermont, passed away recently at Sunnycrest Manor, and formerly of 2643 Windsor Ave. Dubuque. Funeral services were held at Egelhof-Casper Funeral Home with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Dubuque. Jerry was employed for 30 years at Belsky Motors, and later for the city of Dubuque's Engineering Dept. until he retired. Surviving are his wife the former, Hazel Barnhart; 3 daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Erma) Cheney of Bellevue, Ia.,; Mrs. Wayland (Naomi) Welty of Canyon Lake, Texas; and Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Davison of San Diego, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Donald Scott (Ruth of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Leo Stone (June) of San Diego, Calif; and Mrs. Harold Barnhart (Lovila) also of San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Clarion West were formerly from Clermont, and owned and operated the farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Butikofer. They moved to Dubuque in the early 1930's.
