Anna Belle Butner (1885–1967) was the daughter of Lexington merchant, Lyman Taylor Butner (1848 – 1928) and his wife Amanda (Benton) Butner (1846 – 1906).

Anna Belle, like all of her siblings, worked for her father's Produce business in Lexington.

When she was 35, Anna Belle was married to James McCreary Bronston, son of Jacob Chenault Bronston, Sr (1838–1900) and Carrie L Evans (1848 – 1930). She was his 2nd wife after Lena R Million (1879 – 1902).

Anna Belle and Jim were the parents of Anne Elizabeth Bronston, w/o Charles Albert Staggs (1914-1989) of Vanceburg, Lewis, KY.
