Farrell Eugene Faubus, 37, of Huntsville, son of Mrs. Alta Faubus and former Governor Orval Faubus, was found dead Wednesday night, June 16, at the home of his aunt near Seattle, Wash.

Faubus was born April 5, 1939 in Fayetteville.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dottie Fox Faubus, of Huntsville; two daughters, Fara Faubus and Ellen Faubus, Little Rock; his father, Orval Faubus, and mother, Mrs. Alta Haskins Faubus, of Huntsville; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Racheal Harriman, of Huntsville.

Faubus, a former attorney, was a former State Representative, and a former publisher of the Madison County Record preceding his death.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, in the Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. F. Hopkins Kleihauer officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.

Active pallbearers included Harry Shinn, Phil Phillips, Charles Berry, Larry Kelly, Jim Wilson, Howard Cain, Jr., Tommy Tice and Rocky Cain.

Honorary pallbearers were Charles Presley, John Wages, Gene Shinn, Lee Mounce, Bob Trout, Kay Matthews, Paul Henson, Jerry Faubus, David Fox, Orville Chenney and Freeman Shustger.
