Sara Mae Hein, 71, 179 Shady Lane Drive, Wabash, died at 7:27 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Indianapolis to Kenneth and Delithia (Campbell) Knight, both of whom are deceased.
Mrs. Hein worked in the insurance department at Wabash County Hospital's insurance office for 20 years. On Sept. 27, 1957, she married Richard D. Hein, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Melissa (Paul) Spears of Laketon; a sister, Patricia Johnson of Indianapolis, and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A daughter, Vickie Ihnen, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Ladies Elks. Memorials may be directed to the Wabash County Hospital Oncology Department. There will be no service or calling. Burial will be at a later date at Falls Cemetery. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
